Venice Children's Splash Fountain

Commercial
The Venice Children's Splash Fountain was a Venice Main Street project in the heart of downtown Venice, Florida in Centennial Park. It has a gazebo for public events, picnic tables, Veterans memorial and restrooms for Park visitors. The real attraction is the Children’s Interactive Splash Fountain where kids can splash and play in the water from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily to cool off from the hot summer heat. As the Architect of Record for this project it brings great me joy when I drive by and watch the children playing in a splash fountain. I have watched my youngest son run through the water at this splash fountain, maybe one day I will get to watch my grandkids running through this splashing water. One of the artistic hobbies of Architect Michael J Courville is painting. He prefers to paint in Acrylic because it drys fast, which works best when you are on a tight schedule. The Rendering was originally done for The Art Experience, a monthly art competition held at the Venice train station. Michael later entered into another art competition at the Venice Art Center where he received a Merit Award ribbon for his painting.
